Dans ce nouvel article, nous verrons un pistolet de d\u00e9fense : le pistolet AMT Backup 2. Il est fabriqu\u00e9 en grande partie avec le m\u00eame proc\u00e9d\u00e9. Il s&#8217;agit de deux armes \u00e9quivalentes sur certains points : m\u00eame capacit\u00e9, puissance similaire mais avec pour chacun une identit\u00e9 propre et donc des avantages et pr\u00e9sente sur les photos est &#8220;dans son jus&#8221;. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 succinctement nettoy\u00e9e mais sans plus. Ce sera l&#8217;occasion d&#8217;un d\u00e9veloppement en conclusion.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Pr\u00e9sentation de l&#8217;arme<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Le Backup II est un petit pistolet de d\u00e9fense qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit de 1993 \u00e0 1998 par\u00a0 le fabricant AMT. L&#8217;entreprise a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 1977. Arcadia Machine and Tool (AMT) \u00e9tait un fabricant d&#8217;armes \u00e0 feu d&#8217;Irwindale en Californie. La production d&#8217;arme par AMT semble s&#8217;\u00e9taler de 1982 \u00e0 1995. Depuis cette date, l&#8217;entreprise a \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9e \u00e0 plusieurs reprises pour finalement l&#8217;\u00eatre par High Standard (du moins \u00e0 l&#8217;heure ou je r\u00e9dige ces lignes). L&#8217;entreprise a construit ses armes autour de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s rapides d&#8217;obtention de pi\u00e8ces, je pense \u00e0 la micro-fusion. Il est impressionnant de voir que sur la totalit\u00e9 des pi\u00e8ces, un fort pourcentage de celles-ci sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9es \u00e0 partir d&#8217;une \u00e9bauche obtenue par ce \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ce pistolet est une arme \u00e0 culasse non cal\u00e9e, dit autrement, il n&#8217;y a pas de verrouillage.\u00a0 La pression n&#8217;est pas suffisante pour devoir maintenir la culasse li\u00e9e au canon avant la sortie de la balle du canon et donc avant la retomb\u00e9e de la pression. L&#8217;inertie de la culasse, la force du ressort r\u00e9cup\u00e9rateur, l&#8217;armement du marteau sont des forces, entre autres, qui retardent l&#8217;ouverture de la culasse. Le m\u00e9canisme est plus simple, les pi\u00e8ces moins compliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 construire et \u00e0 assembler. Concomitamment au fait d&#8217;avoir de faibles pressions (comme on l&#8217;a vu ci-dessus : il en r\u00e9sulte des armes simples car sans verrouillage), la vitesse de la balle est subsonique donc l&#8217;emploi d&#8217;un mod\u00e9rateur de son doit \u00eatre terriblement efficace. Et cela avec un poids de balle sup\u00e9rieur au 7,65 mm Browning. Donc une \u00e9nergie \u00e0 l&#8217;impact sup\u00e9rieure mais une fl\u00e8che sup\u00e9rieure aussi. canon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Il existe plusieurs fa\u00e7ons de maintenir un canon \u00e0 sa place. Ici, le canon est soud\u00e9 sur la carcasse. Ce n&#8217;est pas un choix tr\u00e8s courant. Un canon fixe am\u00e9liore la pr\u00e9cision. Nous \u00e9tudions ici une arme de d\u00e9fense, la pr\u00e9cision n&#8217;est pas forc\u00e9ment ce qu&#8217;on lui demande le plus. Ce n&#8217;est donc pas pour des raisons de pr\u00e9cision que le canon est fixe mais probablement pour certaines facilit\u00e9s de fabrication. Elle en acier. Je pense que l&#8217;\u00e9bauche de la pi\u00e8ce provient de micro-fusion. Je dis &#8220;je pense&#8221; car ce n&#8217;est pas flagrant. Ce qui me fait dire cela est la forme de l&#8217;emplacement du marteau. Le\u00a0 marteau n&#8217;\u00e9tant pas apparent, il faut lui am\u00e9nager un emplacement interne (comme sur le pistolet Ruby). Ce logement, sur le pistolet Backup II, ne peut \u00eatre obtenu par un usinage classique (fraisage), il n&#8217;a pas de trace de fraise (rayon de la fraise, ici les angles sont vifs). Mais alors &#8230;lequel choisir pour sa d\u00e9fense ? Est il plus int\u00e9ressant de prendre un revolver ? Un pistolet ? Doit on privil\u00e9gier un m\u00e9canisme de revolver en simple et double action ou un pistolet chambr\u00e9, marteau \u00e0 l&#8217;arm\u00e9 et dot\u00e9 d&#8217;une p\u00e9dale de s\u00fbret\u00e9 ? Est ce que l&#8217;on pourrait porter un revolver charg\u00e9, marteau \u00e0 l&#8217;arm\u00e9 sous pr\u00e9texte que l&#8217;arme est dot\u00e9 d&#8221;une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de percuteur ? Est on certain que 5 cartouches suffiront \u00e0 r\u00e9gler le probl\u00e8me auquel on doit faire face ? Dans le cas inverse, quel mode de rechargement est le plus efficient ? Ces questions ont pour but de provoquer la r\u00e9flexion du lecteur sur les divers choix possibles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Les revolvers sont, je pense, comme les fusils \u00e0 pompe. Elle n&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 que tr\u00e8s succinctement nettoy\u00e9e pour la r\u00e9daction de cet article. Elle est sens\u00e9e \u00eatre en acier inoxydable or on a vu sur les photos qu&#8217;une l\u00e9g\u00e8re fleur de rouille est pr\u00e9sente par endroit. Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 ais\u00e9 de sabler l&#8217;arme pour retirer cette fleur de rouille (m\u00eame dans les plus petits recoins) et de lui redonner un air de jeunesse.
