Cette arme a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9e entre 1927 et 1986 puis de 1993 \u00e0 1995. La poign\u00e9e fait partie int\u00e9grante de la carcasse ce qui n&#8217;est pas le cas de tous les revolvers. Les axes des pi\u00e8ces du m\u00e9canisme sont rapport\u00e9s sur la carcasse. Ils ne sont pas d\u00e9montable par l\u2019utilisateur. C&#8217;est un ressort en V moderne, on est loin de celui du revolver Fran\u00e7ais mle 1892.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A partir du moment ou l&#8217;on prend le parti d&#8217;ouvrir la <strong>plaque de recouvrement<\/strong>, il faut avoir l\u2019\u0153il pour ne rien perdre et se rappeler la place de chaque pi\u00e8ce. Le levier de man\u0153uvre du verrou de barrillet est mont\u00e9 sur la plaque de recouvrement. Cette derni\u00e8re s&#8221;encastre dans la carcasse. Elles sont les logements du verrou limitant la rotation du barillet. Ce dispositif assure qu&#8217;une chambre reste en face du canon. Les encoches ne sont pas sur la g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice du barillet mais l\u00e9g\u00e8rement d\u00e9centr\u00e9es ce qui n&#8217;est pas tr\u00e8s \u00e9tonnant lorsque l&#8217;on voit l&#8217;\u00e9paisseur de m\u00e9tal restant entre le diam\u00e8tre ext\u00e9rieur du barillet et l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de la chambre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Le verrou de barrillet est port\u00e9 par la carcasse. Le r\u00f4le de ce verrou est d\u2019emp\u00eacher\u00a0 le barillet de basculer sur le cot\u00e9. Sur le Colt D\u00e9tective, le barillet s&#8217;ouvre sur la gauche. trace de frein filet. Je n&#8217;ai pas eu le temps de r\u00e9aliser le montage utile \u00e0 l&#8217;obtention du couple de serrage. Le poids de l&#8217;arme est consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9. L&#8217;arme passe de 649 grammes \u00e0 470 grammes, on sent franchement la diff\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La version \u00e0 carcasse alu que j&#8217;ai pu avoir en main n&#8217;\u00e9tant pas en bon \u00e9tat (oxydation des parties m\u00e9talliques et usure du traitement de surface : anodisation noire), j&#8217;ai pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ne pas faire figurer de photo de celle-ci dans l&#8217;article. En revanche, j&#8217;ai souhait\u00e9 v\u00e9rifier si le diam\u00e8tre et le pas du filetage du canon \u00e9tait le m\u00eame que sur la version \u00e0 carcasse en acier. Cependant, <strong>un d\u00e9tail technique est particuli\u00e8rement frappant.<\/strong> Le couple de serrage du canon sur la carcasse est tr\u00e8s bas. Sur la photo ci-dessous, on peut voir la position de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice sup\u00e9rieure du canon (axe du guidon) par rapport \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice sup\u00e9rieure de la carcasse (axe de la hausse) apr\u00e8s serrage \u00e0 la main. Il reste tr\u00e8s peu de rotation \u00e0 faire faire au canon pour qu&#8217;il retrouve sa place d&#8217;origine. Les armuriers ont l&#8217;habitude de bronzer des pi\u00e8ces en acier mais l&#8217;anodisation est un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 moins courant.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Comme toutes les armes d&#8217;un grand constructeur ayant suivi une longue \u00e9volution dans le temps, on ne peux pas reprocher au Colt D\u00e9tective d&#8217;\u00e9ventuel d\u00e9faut de finition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Chacun \u00e0 ses pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences, en ce qui me concerne, je ne suis pas un grand fan de ce m\u00e9canisme. Je pense qu&#8217;il n&#8217;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 optimis\u00e9, que certaines pi\u00e8ces ne sont pas facile \u00e0 ajuster en cas de remplacement de pi\u00e8ce. Cela vient, je pense, de l&#8217;historique de l&#8217;arme. En effet, la version que nous avons sous les yeux est l&#8217;\u00e9volution d&#8217;un mod\u00e8le n\u00e9 au environ des ann\u00e9es 1920. Il est probable que par choix de conserver l&#8217;identit\u00e9 du mod\u00e8le, il n&#8217;y a pas eu de changement profond \u00e0 part la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de percuteur qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Avec cette s\u00e9rie d&#8217;articles sur les revolvers, j&#8217;esp\u00e8re pouvoir vous apporter les outils n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0\u00a0 vos propre analyses, aiguiser votre \u0153il critique pour vous permettre de faire vos choix et de ne pas d\u00e9pendre d&#8217;un commercial ou d&#8217;un technicien.
