En revanche, j&#8217;apporterai ici ma modeste contribution et donnerai aux historiens la possibilit\u00e9 d&#8217;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 cette arme en leur fournissant les photos ci-dessous. A eux d&#8217;en d\u00e9duire ce qu&#8217;ils voudront au regard de leurs connaissances de l&#8217;histoire de la manufacture, du mod\u00e8le d&#8217;arme consid\u00e9r\u00e9 et de l&#8217;exploitation des divers num\u00e9ros de s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Si un sp\u00e9cialiste \u00e9clair\u00e9 poss\u00e8de des donn\u00e9es sur cette arme ou sa s\u00e9rie (date de sortie d&#8217;usine, r\u00e9giment d&#8217;affectation&#8230;), je serais ravi de relayer ces informations en \u00e9tendant le pr\u00e9sent article ou via un autre article.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La gendarmerie nationale a \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9e en Afghanistan en tant que force devant former et encadrer la police Afghane. J&#8217;ignore dans quel cadre une arme de tradition a \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9e par la gendarmerie ou donn\u00e9e \u00e0 cette derni\u00e8re.\u00a0 Cependant il se trouvait, dans les couloirs de l&#8217;\u00e9tat-major de la gendarmerie \u00e0 Kaboul, un fusil Lebel mod\u00e8le 1886. Il n&#8217;est pas impossible que cette arme ait \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9e \u00e0 une \u00e9choppe du march\u00e9 afghan du camp international de Warehouse \u00e0 Kaboul. Ici encore, il est tr\u00e8s ais\u00e9 de s&#8217;en apercevoir. On est bien loin des fabrications modernes ou tout est optimis\u00e9, les pi\u00e8ces tr\u00e8s simplifi\u00e9es sont fabriqu\u00e9es par des machines command\u00e9es par ordinateur et ou les bois sont remplac\u00e9s par du plastique moul\u00e9. On est ici dans un autre monde ou les pi\u00e8ces passent d&#8217;op\u00e9ration en op\u00e9ration, de main de sp\u00e9cialistes vers les mains d&#8217;un autre sp\u00e9cialiste.<\/p>\n<div Dans peu de temps apparaitra le fusil Mauser et son magasin \u00e0 pile imbriqu\u00e9e et un peu plus tard le fusil Lee enfield et son magasin \u00e0 pile imbriqu\u00e9e amovible. Le fusil fran\u00e7ais et anglais utilise des munitions \u00e0 bourrelet, les allemands une munition \u00e0 gorge. Il n&#8217;est pas facile de modifier un m\u00e9canisme Lebel pour l&#8217;adapter \u00e0 une munition \u00e0 gorge. Et \u00e0 quoi bon le faire puisque son principe d&#8217;alimentation est d\u00e9pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Une version modifi\u00e9e acceptera la cartouche de 7,5 mm x\u00a0 54 mm.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>La culasse<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La forme de la culasse est tr\u00e8s proche de celle du Chassepot et du Gras. Il y a comme un lien de parent\u00e9, une filiation tr\u00e8s clair entre les trois pi\u00e8ces. Est ce une volont\u00e9 de r\u00e9employer l&#8217;outil de production,\u00a0 de limiter la formation des soldats et des ouvriers, ou une r\u00e9sistance au changement. Comment nettoyer r\u00e9ellement un m\u00e9canisme pareil ? C&#8217;est une v\u00e9ritable \u00e9nigme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Quelle \u00e9tait la p\u00e9riodicit\u00e9 des contr\u00f4les des armuriers r\u00e9gimentaires sous les contraintes cit\u00e9es ci-dessus? Est ce que le servant avait l&#8217;autorisation de d\u00e9solidariser le m\u00e9canisme de d\u00e9tente de la boite de culasse pour tr\u00e8s correctement nettoyer et graisser les pi\u00e8ces. Certain contradicteur trouvant cela plus fragile. Les trois derniers chiffre de la date de 1889 semble ne pas avoir la m\u00eame typographie et sont \u00e0 mon avis beaucoup plus net. N&#8217;\u00e9tant pas certain que la culasse est la bonne, ce contr\u00f4le aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 al\u00e9atoire mais aurait donn\u00e9 d&#8217;autres donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Quelle est la probabilit\u00e9 que cette arme puisse nous arriver dans cet \u00e9tat apr\u00e8s tant de vicissitudes et de hasards. Pour en plus, qu&#8217;elle finisse entre les mains de fran\u00e7ais en poste \u00e0 Kaboul. L&#8217;Afghanistan n&#8217;est pas vraiment la zone d&#8217;influence historique de la France, la probabilit\u00e9 que des soldats fran\u00e7ais soit projet\u00e9s dans cette zone est aussi une occasion rare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Au d\u00e9part des forces de gendarmerie d&#8217;Afghanistan, l&#8217;arme est revenue en France parmi les caisses de mat\u00e9riels, les v\u00e9hicules et les paquetages des militaires. Elle se trouve aujourd&#8217;hui dans un mus\u00e9e et est un morceau d&#8217;histoire de France et d&#8217;Afghanistan m\u00eal\u00e9. Ce fusil est revenu dans le patrimoine Fran\u00e7ais apr\u00e8s quelques d\u00e9cennies d&#8217;un d\u00e9tour que l&#8217;on aurait pu croire sans retour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Une nouvelle vie commence pour notre Lebel 1886. Le dicton est bien vrai une arme a plusieurs vies.
